Saturday, January 19, 2008 HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY JIELUN!!!!   and Jiahui and everyone else whose birthday was yesterday. Yesterday was DAMN HIGH CAN!!!!! AHHHHH!!! morning at home: I didn't sleep well the night before due to my over-excitedness. dreamt of trying to get the merchandise. Plus i woke up with butterflies in my stomach which wasn't a good feeling at all. The good thing was that I caught the debut broadcast of his latest song for his movie!!!周大俠.Catchy-ness!Can totally imagine this song being played during a basketball match in the movie! cute lyrics too.(: setting off: after hearing that song, i bathed and left for indoor stadium. The mrt ride was ok, but reaching Kallang, i found myself utterly lost. The Geylang Lorong bus interchange wasn't what i expected it to be. It's so tiny! Waited for bus 11 for a while but that placed was so deserted that i started having doubts about the place and set off to find another bus stop with service 11. Bad move. Walked around the area and the traffic lights are so weird! They take SO LONG to change! yes, both from red to green and green to red. That annoyed me. Well, then i finally found another bus stop with bus 11 and waited there. BUS 11 IS SUCH AN ENDANGERED SPECIES. I suspect there are only 2 such buses.⌐_⌐And the schedule they showed was way OFF. I probably waited for an hour before it appeared before my eyes...and disappeared before i could try flag it down. It simply dashed past me! so rude! the bus that stopped at the bus stop right before it is at fault too. I'm glad i don't live in kallang. i will never survive the traffic there. I chased after it to the bus interchange but the stupid traffic light defiantly ignored my urge for it to change. Told you the traffic there sucks. As a result, i missed that bus and had to wait abt 20 mins before the OTHER(not next)one came. Reaching: Reached indoor at around 2 (i reached kallang mrt at 12+) and saw that there was no queue at all. Just a cluster of ppl watching the explogift staff setting up the booth. My (gancheong+kiasu)-ness led to an hour and half of reading the new paper, looking around, being abused by the wind ,staring into space and listening to jielun rehearsing. Boring. NO. LISTENING TO JIELUN REHEARSING IS NOT BORING LOR!!! ahahahahahahahaha!!! so adorable!!(fangirling is abt to begin) heard him singing golden armour,wu shuang, bai se feng che, longest movie and black humour. i might have recorded parts of it. and quite randomly, a staff suddenly appeared with a life-size inflatable gongzai version of JIELUN and was dragging it to the area where it was to be placed. He kept inflating it and i HAD to smile at that. That's plain adorable! But i forgot to take a photo with it.-_-'''My chance of taking a photo with jielun is gone!T_T At arnd 3:24, the booth opened and everyone rushed to form a queue. It took some time for my turn but the wait was worth it. Got everything i intended to buy.(:And a photographer guy from mediacorp appeared and openly took photos of the queue! tsk tsk. my merchandise(:  the metal box of the ring necklace  had to get the male version cos female version out of stock. so fast!   pretty sia!  got his autograph in gold on the black ring and 'Jay Chou World Tour 2008' carved on the silver one.  the hp strap  the 'high-tech' wristband which cost $10!O_O  it has this sticker to make it user-friendly(:  lights on!   cute pink tee!  notepads that came free(: (actually, they give 1 for every $50 purchase><)  full collection jacket,t-shirt,figurine,poster,files,bag,ring necklace,hp strap,notepads,wristband and green palm! Later: After that, i went to the concourse to get lightsticks! bought blue, green and red, which was really pink. Went downstairs to Broadway intending to have lunner(lunch+dinner)but few stalls were open. , including the dessert stall! so i had STRAWBERRY DE LONGAN which was as delicious as it had had tasted a year ago. yum.:p Tummy filled, i sneak-ed to the toilet where there was no one and began inspecting my ware. I got so excited! LOL. the jacket and t-shirts were really high quality and ring necklace is pretty sia.xD Shiny called when i was in the toilet! But i had to hang up when i had to 'flush'(unlike someone, i don't have to wipe my butt). Sitting outside the concourse was a windy affair.hmm. Prelude: arrived at kallang mrt again at 6:20+ and it was already packed. Jingwen came and we started off for indoor again(for me). The 11 bus stop was even worse. Bus 11 was transformed into a can of humans. we realised that it was hopeless waiting for it and hailed a taxi despite it being the peak period and taxi fares have gone up. sigh. The taxi driver was funny! He was like o_O when we told him to go indoor stadium. He said that he doesn't like jielun very much but he knows about jielun being a busy cowboy.:D In the middle he called someone up to ask if his daughter had also gotten tix for his concert. and it turned out she did and he didn't know.-_-''' When we reached indoor, the whole place was already packed like siao. There were long queues at the merchandise and snack booths, so i guess my (gancheong+kiasu)-ness did pay off in a way. Verse: Entered at the North Entrance where we still had to queue. There were ppl checking bags with torchlights and water bottles were not allowed. We had to deposit them into pigeon holes by the side. There were ppl selling his albums and past merchandise and expensive but pretty lightsticks inside. Finally, i saw the stadium interior for myself after so many years. i don't think it changed one bit.  it was a sea of bright green as starhub provided these bright green palm shaped cardboard pieces for fans to wave at jielun.  it says 'I <3 U JAY' Chorus: At 8+ it finally began!!!! Superb animation and sound effects!!!!! The beginning animation for the concert is coolest. woot! The trailer for Kung Fu Dunk was premiered to wild cheers from us.  He rose up wearing that famous purple warrior suit with feathers and sang HUANG JIN JIA.   Next was WU SHUANG. the high-pitched part was nice and quite well done! (though it wasn't hai tun ying) ZUI HOU DE ZHAN YI/ LAST BATTLE Then came several clips from secret and a really beautiful 'mv' for RIDE WITH ME, my favourite track in the ost!(and also the song in the background)  BUNENGSHUODEMIMI!!! had wanted to shout YEXIANGLUN during that part but was intimidated by the ppl around me.:/  TUI HOU then came weird but nice scottish music with 4 dancers dressed in the scottish mackintosh thingey who danced quite comically with fake falls and all.nobody had any idea what song was next, so it was a VERY pleasant surprise when the qian zou of MAI YA TANG began playing. He added part of a 儿歌 into it! SO CUTE!!!!! To continue with the gaiety, NIU ZAI HEN MANG came next! the hilarious cowboy-hiphop dance! cutesy singing!!AHHH! jielun's being busy!! and he incorporated oh!susanna into the song!  When NZHM ended, he sat down on the steps to catch his breath!! SO CUTE SIA!!! He complained:"好累啊！谁来带我回家？！" To which the whole audience shouted "ME!"who could resist? >< jielun:"哪有人生日搞得那么惨的啊？" jielun:"因为今天开心嘛。因为今天是我的生日，对不对？那生日要感谢谁呢？" us:"MAMA!!!" jielun:"错啦，就是妈妈" (weird jielun, we were correct can!) and the qian zou of TING MA MA DE HUA began.^^ in the middle, there were clips of zhou ren fa and zhang xue you singing the song!   Next, he disappeared and reappeared with his CLEAR CRYSTAL PIANO and played HEI SE YOU MO and ZUI CHANG DE DIAN YING.  he was sweating profusely! but can't see clearly here.:(   Then came AN JING. I was happily staring at him and listening to an jing when suddenly, he did something that stunned me and many ppl. HE CHANGED THE LYRICS OF AN JING!! whether it was deliberate or not, it left me speechless. that was totally unexpected can! BAI SE FENG CHE was next. Then they played a clip of psycho Yu hao 自言自语-ing about his beloved 大妮(who is the chubby lady in the nzhm mv)and how jielun is trying to snatch her away from him.LOLz! so blah blah blah, and he decided to challenge jielun to fight for 大妮 and thus, the next performance: PIANO DUEL!! WOOTS! damn zai lah!both of them. and after that, my memory starts failing me... i think he did some hiphop dancing with some moves from xiaozhu's wu suo bu zai. WHY? maybe its a response to him using the AE86 in his concert? well, whatever.  but his dancing's IMPROVED! perhaps cos he seldom dances. and something something something in darkness later, a spotlight shone on a lady in pink qipao playing an erhu. The music from the erhu was so beautiful that at that moment, i was truly convinced that i would one day learn that instrument myself!   After the erhu solo, it was joined by the all-too-familiar 前奏 of QIAN LI ZHI WAI(yes, the 前奏s to his songs are all very significant so i 认 songs by their前奏) the guy beside me shouted "费玉清！！！" but no, he didn't appear.): then he sang JU HUA TAI, another 中国风song. and next, he showed us that he CAN dance if he wanted to, again, with BEN CAO GANG MU!they remixed a bit of CHE into the end and he che-ed a PINK 扯铃！was pretty good at it. he threw it SO HIGH into the air and CAUGHT IT!O_O but after that he lost control and threw it again! but this time he threw it aside.-_-''' Following this, he went to change and NQMM came out to perform. Not everyone was interested in them. Some mean ppl even took this as a toilet break lor.-_-''' but i wasn't any better.x/i was busy deleting photos on my cam to allow more space for capturing jielun!><''' but i did pay attention when they sang MU DAN JIANG hor!(partly cos i was done deleting photos:P) YE DE DI 7 ZHANG-- nice background animation and then.... YE QU!!! the famous 前奏 GOT EVERYONE HIGH!!!! I was super high too--at first.  this changed when i saw this infamous giant high-heel shoe. that means slutty dancers will be pawing him all over.>:(  bu shuang lah! wanted to boo them but held it back.  i was about to take a photo of him alone(finally!)during the song but the shutter only closed when one URGH! dancer came harassing him. my poor jay! he seemed so uncomfortable and stiff.):   caught in action!   MI DIE XIANG was next. GOOD! at the end of the song there were some 国标舞dancers who went down to where the audience were seated and tried to get them to dance! this part was cool as the lighting was designed to coordinate with the bossa nova beat of the song. zai! but this was actually a ploy to distract us from the stage where they were setting up instruments and chairs. NEXT CAME THE BEST PART OF THE NIGHT! jielun and NQMM came out and he requested for a birthday song!! this foiled NQMM's plans to surprise him lorh!(to this, he said he's always been smarter than others.自夸.-_-''') but anyway, WE ALL SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HIM!!! in both chinese and english.(:his antics during the song were so CUTE! pretending to conduct and pretending to cry when the song was ending...超可爱的！！ and they just chatted on stage as if they were having afternoon tea. dan tou and zhang jie did a blues version of REN ZHE! sounds cool enough. can put in an album alr! zhang jie is quite cute too.:) jielun then did a bubbly version of SHUANG JIE GUN which was THAT nice and catchy! he's such a genius!<3 next: CAI HONG. and then he told us:"接下来要唱一首歌。这首歌只在演唱会结束时唱的。" "但现在先唱给大家听，因为呢，还不想结束！！" and sang KAI BU LIAO KOU! AHHH!! after the song,he was so cheeky! "生日应该唱一些开心的歌嘛，下一首歌--三个字的！" "什么什么-的？不是粗话哦～ 什么什么-的？" many guessed JIAN DAN AI. but it turned out to be TIAN TIAN DE!!! and he sang it in such an ACT-CUTE MANNER!!! ><""''' cannot stand him lahh! but still, WE STOOD UP! screamed like siao. and during the song he was like introducing the 工作人员s like the concert was going to end!!O_O NOOO! too short! cannot end! there were even fireworks that seemed to finalise things. When the song ended, the lights went off and everyone waved their lightsticks and LED boards shouting "ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!..." and "JIELUN! JIELUN! JIELUN!..." until his name suddenly sounded weird to me. And they kept toying with us by shining the lights on one side of the audience and then the other. The percussionist came out and started drumming. I was like: this is the part where we are supposed to shout "ZHOU JIE LUN!" along with the rhythm! but no one did that. he had to repeat it again for us to catch on. "ZHOU! JIE! LUN! WOO!" "ZHOU! JIE! LUN! WOO!" "ZHOU! JIE! LUN! WOO!" "ZHOU! JIE! LUN! WOO!" i forgot how many times we did that. but it was UBERLY HIGH!!! I LOVE JIELUN!! re-living the events of that night makes me high too! and finally, he resurfaced for an encore!! he rose up on the platform playing the drums. and his expression was damn ZHUAI can! such confidence! but it only made him more charming and shuai!>< and he sang YANG GUANG ZAI NAN! the animation is way too adorable! a zai nan with swirling circles as eyes playing the piano! JUST LIKE JIELUN! EVERYONE stood up again and moved along with the beat. jielun was bouncy! he jumped so much that i wondered how he was able to catch his breath. he even CAME DOWN TO THE AUDIENCE AND TAPPED THEIR HANDS AS HE PASSED THEM!!! OMG. I WANT!!! the song ended and we were left in the dark again.  when the lights returned, jielun came up playing a GUZHENG(yes, a guzheng. he's multi-talented!) and sang FA RU XUE! HUO YUAN JIA next! huo huo huo huo huo huo huo huo! he was so skillful with that fan(a real fan.扇子.not my同类or i would have died). but天下无不散之宴席, and the concert finally came to its end with SHUANG JIE GUN original version. he 耍ed a real双截棍. towards the end, he tested which side of the audience was loudest at screaming and then randomly threw it into the audience in the middle.-_-'''another advantage of sitting in the premier area.): and dan tou appeared in a PINK DRESS and tried to KISS jielun!!! jielun was trying to escape from him lah! tsktsk. like little boys playing catching.xD if it weren't for the voice announcing that it was the end of the concert and all the lights coming on, i wouldn't have believed that it had ended. it seemed like it had just started! OMG! good times don't last.T_T  us not willing to leave after the concert  this was outside the north entrance! there was a crowd all trying to take a pic of it.^-^ and we were already on the bus halfway home when we realized we have forgotten our water bottles-_-''' well, nothing we can do abt that. ending: overall, this concert was a BLAST! the best ever!(my first and only concert-_-)but his singing and remembering of lyrics and the stage size and my seating and the distance between us could have been better. he was recovering from flu mahh. and since its his birthday, he shall be pardoned for singing out of tune and forgetting his lyrics!:D 99/100! i was chao HIGH when i got into 状况！the atmosphere was great too. was waving my red(which was really pink)lightstick throughout and shouting and screaming and singing along with him all the while even though i could hardly hear myself. i didn't care whether i sang off-key or out of tune or the wrong lyrics. ALL MY ATTENTION WAS ON HIM. when i wasn't standing or shouting or singing along, i would just sit there and stare at the screen where his beautiful and shuai face was. His expressions were all so lovable~! i definitely do not regret loving him. such a cheeky, boyish, humourous, talented, humble(towards fans), charming, nice guy who doesn't smoke, drink, GAMBLE, do drugs, CHEAT(coughemicough), and who's FILIAL TO HIS PARENTS and their parents! I'm so proud of him!*beams* I swear the next time he comes for a concert, I will do whatever it takes(as long as its not illegal)to get my hands on the FRONT ROW tickets. even if it means i will have to sign up with ocbc. serious. and i don't even mind being blinded by lights and fireworks, deafened by the noise they make, covered in confetti, getting warned against videotaping by guards and getting hit on the head by flying nunchunks! as long as i can get close to MY lunlun and TOUCH HIS HAND!!i don't think i will ever wash that hand again. I may even amputate it and seal it in a transparent case of unbreakable material. ok, forget the last part. its borderlining on madness. i'm a CRAZY fan but not a mad one. and i'm going to surround myself with HIGH ppl! the ppl around me were not that high, though those on my right were high enough. I think jielun took away something from me that night. I wonder when he'll return it to me? Sorry for the blurred and lousy quality of the photos and videos. The distance was quite far and all i had with me was a cheap 5.0mp camera with 1gb storage, but the files are LARGE and storage space ran out quite soon. Also the videos were extremely shaky and un-viewer-friendly due to my inexperience. wanted to both videotape and watch+cheer+clap+scream+move with the music at the same time, thus the lousy outcome. didn't know which was better: to tape the images on the screen, or real life ppl? maybe i'll get a better camera next time. and perhaps a tripod too.
Thursday, January 17, 2008 IT'S TOMORROW. i'm so excited i can't even stand/sit still for more than a second. both excited and nervous at the same time. I'm going EARLY in the noon time to queue for the merchandise! i've already planned my route!(being a complete noob with the kallang area) and made a list of stuff to buy. in fact, i'm more concerned with getting all the stuff i want than the concert itself! ARGH!!! i'm so jumpy!*toing toing toing* The newspaper didn't lie! should i go airport receive him? I SIMPLY CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW!!! tonight's gonna be another sleepless night again.

Wednesday, January 09, 2008 TAH-DAH!!! omg. this blog is SOOOO stagnated can! but it's always been me, myself and I zi-highing here so its alrite.(:  there. my bro. everyone look out for him on campus! I've finally got down to collecting my tix!! the lady at the counter was nice! But that alone is not enough to change my opinion of sistic.-_-  my tix!  the tix holder."losing your voice screaming for your idol: priceless" SO TRUE CAN!! and i bought a box on the way home.  to put all my random stuff. and i changed my hi-card. which means i changed my no!  and a lovely bright green candle that supposedly smells of cucumbers. Carrying on with my random-ness, i stepped on a shard of glass!  ><'''  the aftermath.  this bloody(pun intended. haha.) shard of glass was embedded lengthwise into my foot. pulling it out was 'ouch!' this is about the most exciting event of my school-free life the past few months. oh, and i finally changed my specs!! it's now a pretty ocean blue! :D     "AIYO" still t00t anyway. -_-''' I'm going out with Ferly tmr! yay. 2 school-free, zi-highing youngsters roaming about in the busier part of the day when everyone else is at work/school. suspiscious, eh? AND!!! 9 days to the event of the year!!  he's so cute!<3 |
